Collection: Neil Lavey

 Neil Lavey was born in New York City in 1958, and grew up in Dobbs Ferry, NY. He graduated from Cooper Union in 1981. He worked in advertising for 12 years before returning to Fine Art and has had some great teachers and mentors over the years; including Reuben Kadish, Hans Haake, Stephen Rogers Peck, Robert Beverly Hale, and D.C comic book artist Irv Novick who was a friend and neighbor. His mediums include drawing, painting, sculpture, photography, and digital works.

Neil's works have been on view at The U.S. Embassy in the Congo, The Ron Fowler, The Icon galleries in Provincetown, MA, The Leslie Lohman gallery (now Museum), the Sacred Body Arts gallery in NYC, Rockland Center for the Arts, The Edward Hopper House in Nyack, NY, The Blue Door Gallery in Yonkers NY, the Upstream Gallery in Hastings on Hudson, NY, Gallery 66 in Cold Spring NY, the The H Gallery in Peekskill, NY where his one person show "Gods & Monsters" was on view in 2016, and The Bethany Arts Center in Ossining, NY. He presently works out of his home in Dobbs Ferry N.Y.
